In the midst of all the excitement during the holiday season, we may also find ourselves feeling more aware than ever of other people who have less than we do. Many of us give to those in need, especially those suffering from homelessness.
There are over 11,000 homeless people in the Washington D.C area and women and girls suffer exponentially within the homeless community. Having the challenge of caring for your hygienic needs proves difficult with limited access to housing, water, and methods of sanitation.
As advocates of healthy hygiene for women and girls, Free Flow, Inc. is excited to present our BIGGEST giving initiative of the year, Free Flow's 25 Days of Giving.
For 25 days, Free Flow will be collecting donations from our special holiday wish list to provide holiday toiletry bags for homeless women and girls in the Washington DC area. Our holiday wish list includes our standard sanitary products (pads, tampons, packaged undergarments, etc. ) in addition to some of the most requested and essential items such as socks, deodorant, toothpaste, toothbrushes and more.
In order for this initiative to be a success, Free Flow needs YOUR help! Making a difference is as easy as 1, 2, 3.

While we are excited for you to be part of our biggest initiative of the year this holiday season, it is important to keep in mind that the need doesn’t end when we take down the decorations. Volunteering or giving any day, at any time – not just during the holidays – makes a difference. Remember the homeless all year-round and continue to be the change your want to see.
